RRISD has begun offering Spanish-speaking parent workshops titled "Conversations of Hope" as a way to provide information on a variety of issues such as TAKS, the RRISD school system, and many other topics in Spanish. The group meets every Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. in the Round Rock HS 700 building teachers lounge; no RSVP is necessary. For more information, parents can contact the Parent Support Specialist at their child's campus or Maria Rosas Garcia at 428-7984.

Integer Test Wednesday, September 30th! Add, Subtract, Multiply and Divide Integers (Positive and Negative Numbers) I'll get the review out tomorrow, Tuesday September 29th.

Measuring Up books have been ordered! We hope to be using these ASAP! If you haven't yet and would like to send a $14 check (to HMS) cash or money order, your student will be able to use this personal workbook.

Thanks for all the quick and eager responses regarding school supplies, parent/guardian contact information, and RRISD packets. Your students are already hard at work this school year, and soon they will have a Math Portfolio ready to bring home to show off to you and use for their studies.
